JOB DESCRIPTION:
Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information in accordance with GAAP and necessary internal controls; address tight deadlines; report timely and accurate financial information; support and ensure Foundation, and Company financial goals and objectives are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• General ledger analysis – Asset & Liability
o Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital charges.
o Determines proper handling of financial transactions within designated limits.
o Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
o Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
o Makes recommendations regarding the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
o Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare re-class journal entries when necessary
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 10 years relevant experience
• Foundation and/or Not for Profit Accounting experience desirable
• Experience in Commercial/Residential Real Estate or Property Management Industries desirable
* Must be a CPA
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
• Ability to interpret contracts and make recommendations to ensure contract adequately protects the Company’s interests
• Fundamental understanding and working knowledge of private wealth portfolios and various investment vehicles
• Experience negotiating with banks for loans, lines of credit, etc.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Understanding of and experience with various business insurance vehicles
• Excellent communication skills are required to interact with upper management to promote ideas and transfer detailed knowledge to others and to respond to common inquiries from customers on most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
• Must be willing to ‘roll up sleeves’ and perform administrative work on occasion.
COMPUTER SKILLS
• Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Proficient working experience with ERP systems, Basic Accounting software systems, Quick Books.

Housekeeper/driver Livingston

I need someone to help clean & organize my home, do laundry and drive my kids (10, 12 & 15) to and from after school activities, and do errands. You must have a cell phone and be able to text me and my children.
Hours: 12:30pm - 6:30 pm Monday - Thursday.

Seeking a FT, driving nanny in Short Hills/Millburn

We are looking for a new member of our family!
We are a family of four - two working parents with demanding jobs and two children who will be in school most of the time. Our son is 5.5 entering Kindergarten and our daughter 3 years old and will be going to preschool M-Th 9a-2p.
We are looking for someone who can be a little flexible but willing to do somewhat longer hours (6:30a-6:30p or 7a-7p) with responsibilities such as:
- get the children ready in the morning,
- prepare breakfast and lunch,
- drop the children off at school and pick up (we will have a vehicle),
- transport to after school activities,
- arrange playdates
- playing with the children
- prepare dinner for the children (and maybe the family once a week?).
Candidate must also be willing do to light housekeeping as well (given the down time during the day) and ideally this candidate would be someone who loves to cook.
